Risk Dancers

The vibe for this game is risk dancers, scoundrels, agents, contacts, criminals, and adventurers. It mirrors the classic gangster / secret agent formula of a last job, seeming retirement then getting dragged back into returning to their shadowy life.

This set of tables can be used stand alone as a solo rpg per the rules within. It may also be used by a GM in a space game who wishes to generate a quick scenario, plot beats for a campaign, or generate a character’s background. I like rolling dice and reading results from tables as I thumb RPG books playing through a story in my head. This is a game for that kind of play style. You may of course do as you please, but I suggest rolling dice and just going through the tables in order. Scanning and dreaming. Note what you do not choose can be as important as what you do choose narratively. Don’t feel obliged to write a journal or tell a coherent story or even remember the entries just enjoy the ride.
